Mango Passion Fruit Smoothie
While Karina Arnold was in Cambodia, it was hot. It was like Houston in July, but without air-conditioning and ice water. A small, Cambodian restaurant was selling passion fruit smoothies, which sounded incredibly refreshing. After drinking it in three seconds, Karina asked the waitress what ingredients they use and she listed these ingredients. (Cambodians use a plain, runny yogurt made from local cows’ milk rather than Greek yogurt.)
½ mango
2 passion fruits
½ banana
½ peach
½ cup regular or plain Greek yogurt
Water depending on desired consistency
Optional:
½ Tbsp. Chia seeds
1 handful frozen spinach
1 scoop Vanilla protein powder
Granola to garnish
Wash, peel and cut the mango, banana and peach into large chunks. Cut passion fruit in half and scoop out seeds and flesh. Add all fruits, yogurt and any extra ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Add water for a more liquid smoothie. Blend until ingredients evenly distributed and enjoy!
