1 package frozen petite peas (I buy organic peas)
1 Tablespoon chopped parsley
2 garlic cloves, mashed
3 green onions (chopped with the stems)
Pinch of fresh basil
2 Tablespoons bacon drippings
Place all in saucepan (no water). Cover pan tightly and place over very low fire until completely tender, 20-30 minutes. A vegetable that the kids request every year!
