Potomac Pasta Salad

Ingredients

8 ounces bowtie pasta
3 firm tomatoes, peeled and quartered
½ pound fresh Mozzarella, cut into ¼-inch cubes
1 clove garlic, minced
12 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
1 small red onion, sliced into rings
½ cup bottled Caesar salad dressing
Salt and pepper

Directions

Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain, cool and place in a serving bowl. Add tomatoes, Mozzarella cheese, garlic, basil and onion. Toss well. Add Caesar salad dressing and toss until ingredients are well coated. Add more dressing if desired. Season with salt and pepper. Chill for a half hour before serving.
