Prosciutto adds a salty bite to this picture-perfect salad.
Ingredients
Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette:
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup white Balsamic vinegar
1 Tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon coarse salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Salad:
5 ounces mixed baby greens
2 medium avocados, pitted, peeled and sliced
2 medium navel oranges, peeled and sectioned
¼ pound prosciutto, torn into bite-size pieces
1⁄3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
Directions
Whisk together the vinaigrette ingredients in a small bowl. Place the mixed greens in a large bowl. Add the avocados, oranges, prosciutto and walnuts, and toss with desired amount of Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
