2 eggs, beaten
1 large can pumpkin pie mix
1 box yellow cake mix
¾ cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 carton whipping cream
Pinch of cinnamon, to taste
Sprinkle of powdered sugar, to taste
Heat oven to 350 F. Mix eggs and pumpkin pie mix and spread on the bottom of a greased 9-by-13-inch pan. Top with dry cake mix. Drizzle butter over cake mix and sprinkle pecans on top. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour.
Top with whipped cream; add a pinch of cinnamon and powdered sugar to cream to sweeten.
This is a great cross between pumpkin and pecan pie – very easy and very good!!
