My name is Adarsh Mohanty, and I’m a freshman at DeBakey High School! I first discovered my passion for writing through debate, one of the activities I participate in most often. The process of researching, building arguments, and presenting ideas helped me strengthen my writing skills and showed me how powerful words can be. I enjoy telling stories, persuading others, and making points that stick with people. Over time, I’ve come to love writing as a way to express my ideas and connect with others. A fun fact about me is that I can breakdance, which usually surprises people since they don’t expect it from someone who’s also pretty nerdy!
