Hi! I’m Elizabeth Koo, a sophomore at the Kinkaid School. Born and raised in Bellaire, Texas, I grew up getting to know my neighborhood—selling Girl Scout cookies door-to-door, devouring The Bellaire Buzz, and tackling my library’s summer reading challenge every year. Those hundreds of pages turned into my love for writing, which continues to inspire me today, and I love both journalism and creative writing. When I’m not writing, you can find me playing tennis with my dad, snacking on freeze-dried grapes, or listening to Broadway soundtracks—especially Pippin and Hadestown, which I always recommend to new listeners.
