My favorite hobbies are writing and basketball. When I'm bored or stressed, writing seems to make me forget all about it, and whenever I play basketball, I'm always able to make the noise fade away even if the crowd is loud. I love Houston’s diversity: It’s like you can visit cultures from all over the world by just driving five minutes in any direction. Whenever I come home from a long trip on a plane and see the Houston skyline, I feel at home. I’ve attended St. Catherine’s since 4th grade. I used to go to public school, so coming to Montessori was a big change but really amazing. In Montessori, you get to choose your own work and have a lot more freedom. It took me a little while to get used to it but once I did, it felt like I’d been here my whole life. Because I found the perfect school for me.
