Sara Pope holds an MLS from the University of North Texas. She joined Houston Public Library in 2007 where she has served as a children's librarian and as an assistant manager. She currently serves as the Children's Services Coordinator where she plans and implements youth programs and initiatives citywide. Sara was a member of the TALL Texans Leadership Institute class of 2017, and is the current chair elect of the Texas Library Association’s Children’s Round Table.
