Wedding memories captured
We are so thrilled that you featured Sarah [Hutchins] and Tyler [Duffey] in The Buzz Magazines [Cherished Moments: Buzz newlyweds’ wedding weekends, by Jordan Magaziner Steinfeld, February 2016]! You truly captured a most memorable and beautiful night shared with our family and friends. The positive and complimentary calls, texts and emails we’ve received from so many about your article is heartwarming. Thank you, thank you for helping us to continue to relive a most amazing celebration!

Fashion can be fun
I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed participating in the Season of Style article [Season of Style: Fashion savvy from your neighbors, by Jennifer Oakley, December 2015]. It was a pleasure meeting all the participants. In addition to being impeccable dressers, everyone was very nice. Jennifer Oakley did a great job of capturing everyone’s ideas on how to dress for the holidays. Thanks for including me!

More fried chicken
Three other places, in addition to the other awesome places previously mentioned [This Month in Dining: Houston’s best fried chicken, by Russell Weil, February 2016], that come to mind for great fried chicken, IMO, are: Down House, Harold’s [and] BRC.

Fitbit challenge continues
Thank you for publishing the article on the Fitbit family competition [Healthy Competition: Fitbits prompt friendly feuds, by Andria Frankfort, January 2016]. It turned out very nice. Many of our friends have commented on it. As a follow up, my husband and I gave a Fitbit to all our office staff at the Echeverri Dental Center (22 people) as a Christmas present. Since the first week of January, we have at the office an ongoing weekly step challenge (the prizes are rodeo tickets). We are so excited. There are some ladies that have lost 10-plus pounds, have signed up at the gym and are seriously competing for the weekly steps. Once again, thank you for publishing the article.

Following on Facebook
Just read your gut instincts article on Facebook [Buzz Baby: A parent’s intuition, by Annie Blaylock McQueen, February 2016]. Great topic! A long time ago, a preschool principal told me how important it is to advocate for your own children. From health to school and anything in between, a parent’s intuition can often be more important than what some experts may be telling you.

Editor’s note: Thanks, Nancy. Glad you’re keeping up with us on Facebook, at The Buzz Magazines. Also, be sure to check out Annie’s new “Mommy Moments” Buzzworthy posts every Monday.
Appreciates solar-light invention story
Thank you for such a thoughtful piece and for taking the time to get to know our story in such detail [Illuminating Invention: Shark Tank fave sheds light in disaster, by Cathy Gordon, November 2015]. Looking forward to following along with The Buzz on social media (where else?) and otherwise!
