Chairs Katherine Kardesch and Terri Havens are planning the upcoming annual BEAR the Load with Love Luncheon benefiting BEAR...BE A Resource for CPS Kids. The luncheon will take place April 21 at the River Oaks Country Club and will feature former foster child turned singer Jimmy Wayne, also known for his book Walk to Beautiful. BEAR will honor long-time board member Cindy Steele for dedication to the organization and the vulnerable children it serves. Attendees are encouraged to show their “jeanerosity” in their best denim.
