The Lamar High School Texans girls water polo team had a great season. After winning the Darren Eastman Memorial Tournament in Barbados over spring break, the team qualified to compete at the state tournament in Flower Mound. The Junior Varsity team competed in JV Champs at Clear Creek High School, losing by one goal in the championship game against St. Agnes. JV team members included (pictured, from left) Savannah Skeele, Annika Long, Alina Mooradian, Elise Mapula, Charlotte Rumsey, goalie Elizabeth Fisher, Susana Flores and Madeleine Baird, plus varsity player Lilly Knipe, who came out to support her teammates.
