Post Oak Little League Wins Semi-Finals, Advances to Championship

Post Oak Little League is just one game away from playing in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. After winning 5-0 against Oklahoma in the Southwestern Region Tournament semi-finals in Waco, Texas, POLL is headed to the tournament championship game.
The six-inning game was action-packed with POLL scoring four of their runs in the sixth inning. Additionally, player Richie Klosek had two RBIs. Post Oak will now play the winner of the semi-final game between New Mexico and Oklahoma.
The Southwestern Region Tournament Championship game will take place Wednesday afternoon at 12 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN.
The Post Oak Little League 12U All Stars have never made it this far. It was back in July that the Post Oak 12U team won the Texas East State Championship game for the first time in Post Oak’s 62-year history.
If Post Oak wins the Championship game on Wednesday, they will head to Williamsport for the start of the Little League World Series, which is set to begin Aug. 16.
The Buzz will continue to provide updates on Post Oak’s journey to the Little League World Series.
