Filling the truck
Hannah McCormack, a freshman at Memorial High School, wondered how she could help those impacted by the recent federal-government shutdown. Hannah, who’s a member of National Charity League’s Memorial chapter, decided to coordinate a Shutdown Hunger Food Drive through the Trotter Family YMCA with her NCL chapter. More than 250 pounds of food were collected, in addition to $1,100 in donations. Pictured are (from left) Hannah with Lizzy Suter, a seventh grader at Spring Branch Middle, and Jenny Suter at the YMCA with NCL Memorial.
