With 2020 off to a shaky first quarter, moms may need some extra pampering this Mother’s Day, which, by the way, is coming up on Sunday, May 10! 

Here, we’ve rounded up a list of restaurants with special Mother’s Day take-out or dine-in menus. Whether the moms in your life would like a fancy steak dinner or a laid-back bagel brunch, we’ve got you covered.

Backstreet Café is offering special Mother’s Day Meals for Two, including a shareable spring salad, a shareable entrée, two shareable sides and two desserts. This beloved Meyerland bagel shop is offering a choice of four packages of different variations of the perfect bagel brunch. Frank’s Americana Revival is celebrating Mother's Day with a Chef's Special of Braised Lamb Shank with mascarpone polenta and tomato-mushroom ragout with a spring of marcona almonds. Additionally, the River Oaks restaurant will be serving their normal Sunday Prime Rib with a loaded Baked Potato. The restaurant will be offering carryout and delivery starting at 11 a.m. through the end of the day, and the dining room will be open for dine-in service (reservation only) from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Mastro’s Steakhouse is open for dine-in service (reservation only), and they also are offering a special Mother’s Day dinner to go. The meal includes Raw 28-day, wet aged gyro-vac sealed steaks accompanied by Mastro's Secret House Steak Rub, Caesar Salad, a ready-to-bake side dish and Mastro's Signature Butter Cake. Orders must be placed by May 8 at 8 p.m. 

Morton’s The Steakhouse

Morton's is offering a Steak & Lobster dinner from Fri., May 10–Sun., May 12. The dinner includes a 6oz. Filet Mignon, Cold Water Lobster Tail, Caesar Salad, Creamed Spinach, Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes and Key Lime Pie for $59. Morton's is also providing guests the option to purchase their "Chef's Table" home kits including Morton's specialties ready for guests to pick-up, grill and cook in their home kitchen. These kits include a Mother's Day package for two ($109) or four ($199), prepared sauces and butters and bottled water. Morton's will accept pre-orders on the kits until Fri., May 10.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is offering a family style Steakhouse Smorgasbord to-go in addition to an individual 3-course $45 Dinner special (or 4-course $50 dinner), available for curbside pickup only for Mother’s Day Weekend, Sat., May 9 through Sun., May 10, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Steakhouse Smorgasbord treats four – six+ people for $150, and includes three signature appetizers, four entrées, three sauces and three family sized sides. 

Rainbow Lodge

Rainbow Lodge has an extensive Mother’s Day menu with special meals for two like the Lemon and Herb Roasted Chicken and the Whole Roasted Rack of Lamb. State Fare Kitchen & Bar has breakfast and lunch cooking kit specials to help pamper the moms in your life at home. The packages serve four people and cost $75 (breakfast) and $80 (lunch). All Mother’s Day Packages need to be pre-ordered by Weds., May 6 and picked up Fri., May 8-Sun., May between 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Each package will also come with a small bouquet of flowers. State Fare is also open for dine-in and reservations are recommended for Mother’s Day.

Whether you chose to dine in (reservations required) or enjoy at home, you can select from a curated Mother’s Day menu of of Appetizers, Salads, Proteins, Sides and a Dessert.
