Ben Gentry (pictured), a rising senior at Memorial High School, earned his Eagle Scout award during the quarantine with his Final Board of Review on a Zoom call. Ben is a member of Troop 641 at Chapelwood UMC. For his Eagle Scout project, he worked with Fair Haven United Methodist Church in Spring Branch, and he planned, designed, fundraised and implemented the construction of a raised garden to help children at the Day School learn about the science of plants. Ben and his volunteers also improved the existing landscape and refurbished the sandbox.
