The Houston Pride Festival and Parade will take place downtown.

Houston Pride
The 2016 Houston LGBT Pride Celebration will take place in Downtown Houston this Saturday. It’s free and open to the public and will include the Pride Festival, 12-7 p.m., and the Pride Parade, 8:30-11 p.m.
During the parade, a rainbow flag bearing the names of the 49 victims at Pulse Nightclub will be marched through downtown Houston. The honorary Grand Marshal is Imran Yousuf, a veteran and bouncer at Pulse. Through his heroic actions on June 12, many lives were saved. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Yousuf on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. He will be on the Barefoot Wine & Bubbly Stage in front of City Hall. After the parade, guests are welcome to sign their names on the flag and then the flag will be delivered to the Orlando Pride Parade.

FUNomenal Family Festival
The 5th Annual FUNomenal Family Festival, which takes place at Discovery Green on Saturday, will include an entertaining day for the whole family. The festival includes music and families and kids of all ages can participate in the "Baby Olympics," and more fun events. See more details.
