After a challenging fall semester, Memorial High School students had the opportunity to recharge before the new year. Some students had a stay-cation and enjoyed spending time here in Houston with family and friends, and catching up on sleep after semester exams. Others traveled across the country and around the world for a little more adventure. Check out the photo slideshow below to see some of the ways MHS students ended 2016.
The new year is a great time to start fresh, which for some students means breaking out brand new notebooks for the spring semester, and for others means vowing to not wait until the last minute to study for tests. No matter how students spent their holidays or what their personal New Year goals are, the time off from school in between semesters was a much needed break for everyone to re-energize for 2017.
