Ole Miss and TCU grads

While Rebecca Bertrand was watching football (Ole Miss v. Texas A&M) in 2012 with the Houston Rebel Club at Jackson’s Watering Hole in Montrose, she met Bill Adler, there with his friends. They found they had racquetball in common, and that was the beginning of the “court”ship. In July 2016 in Aspen, Bill proposed during a hike at Maroon Bells, when Rebecca stopped to take a shot of the scenery. On 2-17-17 they were married in an intimate Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church by Father Juan Torres, with a dinner hosted by Jim and Deborah Adler for 70 at the St. Regis. The next night, Byron and Ginger Bertrand threw a celebratory reception for 350 at The Junior League of Houston, and Sybil Roos, grandmother of the bride, gave a farewell brunch. The couple honeymooned on Maui, where they had a whale of a time driving the coast spotting the large mammals.
