I am a senior at the Emery/Weiner School and I am passionate about singing, baking, shopping, and participating in musical theater. My most recent theatrical role was playing Mary Poppins. Outside of theater, I participate in my school’s NHS, ITS, and student ambassadors program as well as volunteer programs with Houston Methodist Hospital, Evelyn’s Park, and Leading Ladies. I was born and raised in Houston and I love it so much because of our incredible, globally recognized medical center. Someday, I hope to be a surgeon working in the Texas Medical Center, but until then, I will continue to shadow doctors and volunteer in hospitals in order to get exposure to the medical world.
