I’m Sophie Czelusta, a freshman at Memorial High School. In middle school, I participated in a novel-writing program, where I realized that words were the best way of expressing myself. Over time, this passion grew. I helped to create a writing club that same year, and I now participate in my school’s Writer’s Guild. I’m also a member of the cross country team and string orchestra at my school. I play the viola in a string quartet called Opus 024 that performs at hospitals and nursing homes. Memorial is unique in that it provides opportunities to be involved in these different groups, including School Buzz, which I look forward to writing for this year.
