Fireplace sparkled

The cold front cooperated as Dr. Rick and Connie Senter prepared their home for 40 neighbors to attend a pot-luck holiday dinner. A reindeer topiary lit up with twinkle lights greeted the guests as they brought their favorite treats, including crab, beef tenders, shrimp and smoked salmon. Enjoying the camaraderie were Alton Curry and Annie Williams, Anne Kennett, Lenore Dunwoody, Dr. Robert and Linda Bloss, Dr. Berkeley and Kimberly Powell, Bill and Mimi Booker, Larry Barton, Gina Bouchard and Gary Tissue, Relda Finger-Hoffer, and Nathan and Danielle Baldauff. The winter evening was perfect, and the next day it was 82 degrees – a typical winter for Houston.
