Mark Stern thought he was going with his girlfriend, Linda Suib, to a try a new restaurant that featured Flamenco dancing, to celebrate his 60^th birthday. Linda had no such thing in mind! She had arranged for 10 couples to be at Majorca Bistro & Tapas in Midtown. With a shout of “Surprise!” out came the sangrias and hot and cold tapas. Since the guests ordered their own entrees and desserts, everyone was checking out what the various courses looked like. The band and a Flamenco dancer on stage helped with the happy b-day song as they serenaded Linda and Mark. The couple danced to Bésame Mucho, joined by Leda and Mike Karchmer, Judy and Mike Weingart and Sondra Schachtmeister.
