The sound of brew

If you go to Germany in January you expect to be colder than Houston, but Evan Howell found it to be the opposite. He left Houston’s damp and cold weather and found Germany was crisp and sunny, perfect ski weather. Evan, who is in the United Nations Choir, was inspired to break into song and sang Edelweiss at a Bavarian beer house in Garmisch (near Munich) to much applause and probably surprise from those chugging away. Other Houston ski buddies on the trip were Jim and Carol Nowicki and Bob and Elizabeth Whidden.
