Hershey Kiss, age 9

I’m named after my mom’s favorite candy, and I am as sweet as can be. I am a 9-year-old English Springer Spaniel, but I have the energy level of a puppy. I was born a hunting dog but am living the life of a city slicker. I’m no slacker though. After three dog shows, I earned my AKC champion dog title in obedience, retired and then promptly developed selective hearing. I am always ready to go on 3- to 5-mile walks with my dad through Bunker Hill Village. That way, he gets his exercise too. My favorite, favorite activity is my daily swim in the pool, all summer long, chasing after my beloved tennis balls. Yep, Mom calls me her “top dog,” and Dad complains about being the “underdog.” Ain’t life sweet!
