The Under the Sea Spring Style Show and Luncheon by Dillard’s featured Pi Beta Phi members and their children as models. Magnificent balloon sculptures of air bubbles and sea creatures adorned the Royal Sonesta lobby for the Houston Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi annual event. Gail Orr and Molly Vaughan, luncheon co-chairs, welcomed co-presidents Elizabeth Darnall and Melissa Garlington and reporter Christine Dobbyn (KTRK-TV). The Queens of the Sea, Nancy Jane McMillan and Anna Teagarden, and a mermaid enhanced the Saturday morning show staged by Captain of the Ship Lenny Matuszewski Jr. Everyone was a star fish.
