River Oaks Baptist School second-grade students, including (pictured, from left) Amelia Novotny, Rohan Yalamanchili and Lea Voytovych, participated in a math contest sponsored by the Continental Math League (CML). River Oaks Baptist was the top-performing school in an 11-state region based on the math-contest scores of its second-grade class, earning top honors in the region for the second time in three years. CML is a challenging national math contest that requires students to solve practical problems using both analytical reasoning and reading-comprehension skills.
