District champs

The Bellaire Little League 9U All-Star team won its district tournament, overcoming other District 16 foes, including West U and Post Oak. They advanced to the Section 3 Sub Sectional Tournament (the farthest they could advance) in Pearland and made it all the way to the championship game, finishing in second place. The members of the squad include (pictured, from left) Evan Wei, Trey Russo, Taylor Bazarsky, Griff Hay, Jake Haysley, Milan Narayan, Seth Broadwell, Colin Sloan, Aidan Orozco, Matthew Evans, Ryan Josef, Quinn Harrison and Mike Melton.
