Adam Hoffman, a freshman at Robert M. Beren Academy, prepared for Pre-AP English by reading The Alchemist.
With so many programs offered at Robert M. Beren Academy, everybody has something to be excited about. For me, it’s the excellent education that I’ll receive. I look forward to high school to learn new things and to be challenged. Every day in school, I learn something new and expect to learn even more next year. All the classes have aspects in which I’m put to the test, whether it’s a math quiz or an English paper.
Here is what other incoming freshman have to say about heading to high school:
“I’m excited to meet new teachers and to have more responsibility in school,”
-Dina Kirshner
“I’m looking forward to more trips,”
-Sivan Hakakian
“I’m not looking forward to more homework,”
-Akiva Levy
“I want to do well academically,”
-Rivka Leah Mergi
“I’m excited to have more privileges, have new teachers, and learn new things,”
-Bracha Teigman
“I can’t wait to be a part of the high school sports program,”
-Jonny Abitbol
My fellow incoming freshmen are also excited about various programs offered at Robert M. Beren Academy. For example, Jonny Abitbol looks forward to playing sports on a higher level. Sivan Hakakian is excited to be in high school because there are more trips. All in all, the incoming freshmen are looking forward to this year for various reasons.
