A beautiful, but bittersweet, photo because it was taken during Ava Wilson's last few days in Spain. (Photo: Ava Wilson)
A few friends of mine recently traveled to Spain this summer for three weeks. They were allowed to do this under ISA, which is a high school study abroad program that Episcopal High School has to offer. While they were there, they studied the culture, experienced great food, and got to know the beautiful country. Ava Wilson, a senior, said, “Spain was amazing and I wish I could go back.” Ava shared with me that she made tons of new friends and got to experience something she will never forget.
Now, as we move in to this upcoming school year, Ava and all of the other adventurous students, including Taylor Betts, Katelyn Ellis, and Nicki McNear will never forget the incredible journey they went on this summer in Spain.
