The City of West University Place hosted a family-friendly Dive-In Movie at Colonial Park Pool, first featuring The Lego Movie and then The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Families watched the movie from the pool or stayed dry and watched from the grass on blankets and chairs. Mark your calendars for more outdoor movie screenings with the Movies in the Park series; Oct. 17 featuring Green Lantern and Oct. 24 featuring Brave, both at 7 p.m., Colonial Park Pavilion area.
