Hello. My name is Ellie Jane, and I don’t go to school, but my owners Brynn and Sam do. I think First Poodle Day Care is where they’re going, but what do I know? I’m a dog. Well, I may be a parrot. I’m not sure. My master Sam calls me DÖG, but Brynn calls me Ellie Belly, and Mommy and Grandma call me Sugarplum. I don’t know why because dogs or parrots don’t eat sugarplums – do they? This is the story of how Brynn’s braces got stuck in my rope that I walk myself with. My name used to be Rithym, but when I got out of the car, these strangers said, “Ellie!” They turned out to be my new family. Brynn was smiling, and I walked over, and I had no idea her braces were stuck until I was being dragged by a human! After that big woof, and three hours of driving home, I lived happily ever after with my new chew toys.
