Hunters Creek residents Michael and Matthew Burrus-Pearce knew that Frozen-themed birthday parties had been done before. That didn’t stop them from going all out for their daughter Estelle’s third birthday – 20,000 pounds of snow, actresses performing as the ice princesses, a reindeer, two blue- and yellow-dyed ponies (using pony-safe dye), a Frozen-badged bounce house, and catered food and beverage. About 100 people, including Estelle’s younger brother Winston, joined in the celebration on the family’s front lawn. While the children in attendance played through a brief afternoon shower, the adults sat under tents at garden party-style tables enjoying red-velvet birthday cake. Pictured (from left) are Matthew holding Winston and Michael holding the birthday girl, Estelle.
