All year, the Episcopal High School football players have been hard at work in order to gain one prize: The SPC Championship Ring. Finally, after a tough, rewarding season, the Episcopal High School football players and fans will be traveling up to Dallas, Texas this Friday, Nov. 7, to support our football players as they play their dream game against Kinkaid High School.
Episcopal High School is preparing for the game by sending up fan buses, making posters and signs, and getting excited for the football players as they tackle their well-deserved championship game. For some of the football players, their life-long love of the intense game of football will come to an end after Friday night.
Chris Erwin, a senior, says, “This weekend will be bittersweet. I am so excited to play in the game Friday because our team has earned it, but it will be the last time I enter a football field, suited up and ready to play, after 14 years of playing the game.”
EHS is confident that our boys will come out successful. They have worked long and hard each day for three months and are ready to take on the challenge presented this weekend.
