River Oaks Baptist School is experiencing a robot revolution. Robotics is part of the fifth and sixth grade computer curriculum, and seventh and eighth graders can choose to participate in a twice-weekly robotics elective. After assembling their robots, children learn to program their machines to maneuver a course and perform other tasks. Pictured are (from left) sixth graders Dylan Woo and Alex Williams working with science teacher Henry Barrios (in center).

Editor’s note: The Buzz is happy to report that Annie and Tyler McQueen’s twin babies are doing well. Annie Blaylock McQueen, associate editor and Buzz About Town columnist, is currently out on maternity leave, spending time with her babies, Cash and Lila. In the meantime, Jordan Magaziner is handling this section.
