Jane Di Paolo, formerly an art teacher at The Kinkaid School, installed a kiln at her home over the summer to embrace her passion for sculpture. She is an artist with the Jack Meier Gallery, which exhibited her whimsical dove and people sculptures. An after-show reception was held at the artist’s home for over 100 friends and art enthusiasts. Among the arty crowd were Rosanna Blalock, Tom Parris, Maureen Higdon, Lilly Andress, Susan and Dick Hansen, Vicki West, and Christina and Tanner Bailey. Husband Jim Teague was pleased that there were many red dots (meaning Sold) on Jane’s works that evening.
