When Kathy Washburn and her daughters Laura Jane and Elizabeth moved into a new home a few years ago, there weren’t many opportunities to meet all of the neighbors in their small gated community. This holiday season gave Kathy the perfect excuse to get better acquainted. She invited everyone over for holiday happy hour in the ’hood. Light bites, wine and Christmas ale were served to 16 guests. Smokey, the miniature poodle, was happy to meet all the nearby dog owners. Some of the partiers were Meredith and Eoin Collins, Stephanie and Don Warmington, Pamela St. Martin, Drudy Sullivan, Bob Hay, Sri Yalamanchili and Tom Ewing.
