Riding in the car is my favorite pastime. Just the mention of the word “car” perks me up, and I get ready in case Mom and Dad want to take me out for a spin. Of course, I enjoy the other drivers making eyes at me when I’m staring out the window. When I was younger, my mom would drive me to school to drop off my sister, and then we’d walk until I was worn out. But now, I’ll settle for more car rides, less walking and just being cute. I’m pretty quiet, but every now and then I let out a howl from another room. Secretly, it’s to keep my mom on her toes. Mom and Dad say I’m more active in my sleep than awake. Often they see me running and barking when I’m deep in dreamland. If they only knew what adventures I was having in shuteye. After all, sleeping is my second favorite pastime.
