Hi. My name is Rook, like the chess piece or card game. However, you’re not likely to see me sit still long enough to play either. As a puppy fairly new to the neighborhood, I love exploring and have met a lot of people going on long walks on the bayou. In fact, I met my best friend, Mico, here, and she lives across the street. All the neighborhood kids call me “the fluffy dog” or “bear.” I am a bundle of energy. Right now, I’m really into chewing everything in sight, particularly antlers, tennis balls and the occasional Toms slipper. I try them all! With my new height, high surfaces are no longer a challenge. You should see me helping in the kitchen. When it comes to licking the counter and opening the trash can, I’m your guy. Finally, I want to apologize for harassing the postman. I hope to see you around. High paw!
