Chester, age 3
Hola! My name is Hector – I mean, Chester. That’s my new name. You see, I was recently found homeless in the border town of Brownsville, Texas. I was very sick and had worm of the heart and disease of the tick. My new forever family rescued me, and I am adjusting quite nicely. I have lots of toys, a nice bed, food and most importantly, two loving parents. They always tell me how beautiful I am. Well, that speaks for itself; just take one look at me! I am still learning English but know what sit means, siéntate! Soon I will be a tri-lingual pup and will be able to speak Spanish, English and Canine. How’s that for a resume booster? I am also super chill. I enjoy belly rubs and hanging around my humans. They love to take me on walks to help build my strength, and I am beginning to feel like my old self again!
