Memorial resident Jenny Jumonville Thompson (pictured, at left) hosted a launch party for Autism Rescue Angels, a new non-profit organization that offers financial assistance to local families who have a loved one with autism. Pictured (from left) are other board members with Thompson, including Jim Turner, Elaine Turner, Lisa Graham-Garza and Penelope Khuri. Most of the board consists of parents of special-needs children, and the board’s passion is raising awareness and funds to help families. See autismrescueangels.org.
