The Memorial Drive Garden club featured Monica Pope of Sparrow Bar + Cookshop, who demo’d edible flowers and made a tasty salad. Don’t try this at home as not all edible flowers are equal. Kristi Barnhill’s home was a beautiful setting as Sue Shefman installed new officers. Former president Suzy Godwin gave former board members The New Southern Living Garden Book for their service. Suzy received a hydrangea for her second year as president and passed the bell to Alice Sadeghpour, the new president for 2015-16. New officers are Lisa Kline, Susanna Jeu, Karen Bloomfield, Julie Brann, Elaine Roach, Diane McDaniel and Suzy Godwin, with committee members Kristi Barnhill, Susan Diehl and Sharon Brier. The theme, determined by Lisa Kline, is Go Local.
