Twelve ladies purchased a one-week stay at La Servitella Vecchia in the Umbria region of Italy at the Hunters Creek Elementary School auction. It was generously donated by owner Ludovica Giuriati, with his son Roscoe as driver, tour guide, chef and body guard. Denise Campbell, the organizer, and Sheryl Doyle, Carolyn Hortenstine, Kay Peeples, Suzanne Wooten, Michelle Williams, Susan Cravens, Colleen Marks, Kim Conrad, Karoline Carlson, Melissa Bennett and Charlene Needles made daily excursions to Florence, Siena, Assisi, Orvieto and Rome, where they had a private tour of the Vatican during Holy Week. There was music in their ears at Il Paradiso Di Frassina (the Mozart vineyard), where loudspeakers play outside, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
