The newly elected mayor of Hunters Creek, David Wegner, spoke at the Hunters Creek Garden Club’s spring luncheon and installation that Rachel Messina and Jennifer Pine co-chaired  at The Junior League. Mayor Wegner’s candidness and humor entertained the villagers, who had a lot of questions about crime and water issues. Club president Jane Smith cheerily waved her fairy-garden wand and handed the “gravel” to new president Mary Gosnell, and then Jane became the treasurer. Other officers are Susan Hendrix, Lee Hunnell, Alice Read, Mary Smith, Ann Moss, Geetha Mammen, Nancy Glesby, Jennifer Pine, Rachel Messina, Nancy Smith and yours truly.
