Houston PetSet Gala

Join Houston PetSet for the annual Fierce & Fabulous Soiree, honoring philanthropist Jan Duncan. The evening will include delicious food, cocktails, live and silent auctions and more. The last known surviving 9/11 search and rescue dog, Bretagne, will be the celebrated guest. See more details here. 

Houston Fine Art Fair  

Calling art enthusiasts: The Houston Fine Art Fair features on-site installations, special projects, panel discussions and more at NRG Center. The final two days of the fair take place Friday and Saturday. See the details. 

Untapped

Head to Discovery Green on Saturday for Untapped Festival, which will feature more than 275 craft beers with more than a third from Texas. The music lineup includes Cold War Kids, Twin Shadow, Deer Tick, Fat Tony, Sarah Jaffe, Young Mammals and Catch Fever. See the details. 

Peter Pan 360 

Experience the classic story of Peter Pan in a whole new way. The spectacular Peter Pan 360 tour includes overheard surround CGI projection with Peter, Wendy and the rest of the cast in innovative flying sequences 40 feet in the air. The tour opened in Houston this week and continues through Oct. 4. See the details. 

Texans vs. Chiefs

The Houston Texans will play the Kansas City Chiefs in the first game of the regular season this Sunday, 12 p.m., NRG Stadium. See the schedule here and cheer on the Texans! 

Astros v Athletics

Head to Minute Maid Park to root for the Astros vs. the Oakland Athletics Friday, 7:10 p.m., Saturday, 6:10 p.m., and Sunday, 1:10 p.m. See ticket info here.
