Cesar Fernandez, Hunters Creek firefighter Wyatt Whilden, Connor Tilton and Tate Elliot attended the Hunters Creek Elementary annual Lunch with Heroes on Sept. 11. Lunch with Heroes is an HCE tradition that allows students to honor first responders, service men and women and veterans. HCE students and faculty meet and interact with local firefighters, police officers, FBI personnel, EMTs and members of the military. Guests were served lunch and presented with cards and letters from the students expressing their gratitude.
