Shortie

Every month I look at the Neighborhood Tails section in The Bellaire Buzz first because I am a contender! Ta-dah! As a stray, one day, I found my people, and it was love at first sight. The fact that I am deaf did not matter to them; I had found my home. I visit small children in pre-Kindergarten to teach them that even though I am deaf, I am still a normal dog. I communicate with signs and lots of hugs and kisses. Especially kisses. My mom calls me “The Starter Dog.” After eight years, they got BiBi for me as a companion. Then when I slowed down, we got BillyBob, who’s from Dime Box, Texas. BiBi and I no longer roughhouse; we just play and leave the roughhousing to BiBi and BillyBob. Oh yes, I have three cats, too. Life is good….
