Mark your calendars for the second annual Pin Oak Middle School ChargerFest on Nov. 14, 12-4 p.m. The afternoon will include an international festival, fine-arts performances, carnival games and activities, kid-oriented raffles, prizes, food and fun. This annual community tradition is open to the public. The event will be held on the school campus at 4601 Glenmont in Bellaire. Tickets can be purchased in advance at a discount at pinoakpto.org or at the ticket booths by the front entrance of the school. Fine-arts performances will be held inside the school in the gym: 12:30-12:45 stage band, 1-1:15 choir, 1:30-1:45 orchestra, 2-2:15 band, 2:30-2:45 dance, and 3-3:15 cheer. The event is organized by the school PTO, and all proceeds benefit the school. Pictured at last year’s festival are (from left) Savannah Bowden, Katherine Davies and Sarah Szafranski.
