Guests had a hot doggity time at The Astorian at the Friends For Life Among Friends Gala benefiting the no-kill adoption and rescue organization, founded by Pat Larson and Salise Shuttlesworth (pictured, from left). Co-chairs Christine and Michael McWilliams and Terri and Roger Peak, along with underwriting chair Don Sanders, were happy about the $500,000 raised to help expand FFL’s programs. Guests were greeted by Cassie, a tutu-wearing FFL-alumni dog. Before the reception, guests enjoyed cocktails along with potato aloo samosas and coconut curry carrots. In the mix were Tanya and Andy Greenwood, Carolyn Levy and Kay Hays, Dan Clark and Joe Loconti, Laura Moore and Don Sanders, Chris Sanders, Texas Sen. John Whitmire, Jane and Robert Cizik, Paula Cizik, Matthew Dunn, Ann and Johnny Johnson, Margaret and Ben Morris, Laurie and Bret Sanders, Andy Schatte, Susan L. Bickley and Robert Scott, Marja and Bruce Dixie Smith, and Julie and Don Weir.
