More than 3,000 are expected to cheer on these professional architects as they construct creative, delicious-looking gingerbread houses. The event includes a kids’ construction zone and a Santa appearance. See the details.
The Heritage Society’s Annual Candlelight Tour
Experience Houston’s history through decorated buildings and historic characters with a cup of cocoa in hand. There’ll be children’s activities plus performances. See more details.
Elves on the Run
Enjoy this nighttime holiday run Saturday evening, which includes a Kids Race and a 5K Run/Walk. The run begins at The Heritage Society and continues down Allen Parkway, with holiday music playing the whole way. The race benefits Be an Angel. See more details.
Christmas Concert at Westbury Baptist Church
Join Westbury Baptist Church for a Christmas Concert on Sunday, 11 a.m., including a combined worship service with the orchestra and choir. See more details.
YMCA Jingle Bell Run & Walk
More than 7,000 will participate in this annual run/walk downtown, which includes a 5-mile timed race, a 3-mile run/walk, a kids fun run, a costume contest, live music, food trucks and more. The run raises funds for the Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA. See more details.
